George Walko, the owner of Anthracite Coin and
Collectibles, bought $1,000 worth of coins from
Benson, and told police he would have paid more
than $20,000 for the entire collection. He also
purchased stamps from Benson, for $310. Benson
told Walko he inherited the collectibles from
his grandfather, who had recently passed away.
