According to AP:
"To lessen the damage, Japan's central bank made two cash injections totaling 8
trillion yen ($98 billion) Tuesday into the money markets after pumping in $184
billion on Monday.
Initial estimates put repair costs in the tens of billions of dollars, costs
that would likely add to a massive public debt that, at 200 percent of gross
domestic product, is the biggest among industrialized nations. "

How do you say "hyperinflation" in Japanese?

Shit, since last Friday the Bernanck has probably given 5 trillion
dollars to the "Too Big to Fail" Banks, just so they won't worry while
their servants are getting the place out in the Hamptons ready for
spring.

First quarter bonuses, anyone???

When are the working people going to rise up and make the people that caused US to crash
pay for it?

I don't always care for you, JAM, but that's a superb question. My
take is that 90% of the people don't know there's a serious problem.
They feel there's a vague problem, but they can't quantify it or
identify who the thieves are.

Kinda Brave New World-ish. The iceberg example.

Hail to the Great Ford.
