What is the obsession with Frank Provasek, who goes under FRANKCOINS
on ebay? With some of the outrageous scams on eBay, a couple of
fellows
seem to target a man with an honest record and who contributes useful
information
to the group, operated a brick and mortar coin shop for years, and IMO
has offered a
lot of useful information. Does this man deserve to have his home
raided by bootjack feds
after false claims about child molestation are made in this group?
Have his ebay auctions cancelled
by false reports? Are these even the people purported to be, or
someone impersonating them
(AKA a Joe Job). The PCGS, NGC, cointalk, open forum refuge and all
the other coin discussion
groups are all subect to the whim and censorship bias of the owner,
be it corporate or individual,
and RCC is the only truly uncensored forum. This group is a great
asset to the numismatic
community, but a few (or someone impersonating them) have made it
virtually worthless.

When you don't have censorship, you have to take the good with the bad.
That means we have to listen to Frank's various sockpuppets (like you) and to
Frank himself whining about eBay or some other damn thing.
Street goes both ways, you know.

With freedom, comes responsibility, and you have none. And if you are
who I think
you are, that goes double.

Steve.

And a cat's asshole like you have none also, Frank!

Oh I'm sure "bootjack feds" raided his home. You're delusional.

>Have his ebay auctions cancelled by false reports?

His auctions were ended because they violated eBay regulations.

All this crap on here about Frank is really hurting what used to be an
interesting
forum. Has anyone else noticed there are fewer and fewer coin related
posts?

Fine if you don't like Frank - (I don't even know who he is), but keep your
opinions to yourself, and try to talk coins.

Been about a year since I posted here, I see nothing has changed. Note: When you obsess yourself with destroying someone, like Finnan is about Frank, reporting every little thing that MIGHT be considered a violation for hundreds of auctions -- for what - 10 years???? and then claiming eBay ended them alone? In legal terms there is a term called proximate cause -- what was the driving force in ending Frank's auctions --- it's clearly Finnan's actions....and I believe there is a good chance Frank can get a good damages judgement just with printouts of RF's posts from a few years back, plus the obvious mental anguish caused by Finnan mocking the deaths of Franks Mom and Aunt just a week apart.

I have had a look after a year or two away, and sadly it is not worth
the effort to try and filter out the rubbish.

This group has effectively been superseded by groups that keep to the
subject.

I have decided to leave permanently. It was a good newsgroup in the
early days when irrelevant whining was absent.

I look in every few months and leave again for a few more months. Maybe
the signal to noise ratio will get tolerable again someday.

Yeah. Maybe Bobbie will be successful next time.

I fear mob rule. Which would be the result of the action you recommend.
