Someone posted this on a grading service discussion board. This guy
is a redneck racist, but what he says is 100% true about how ebay
screws sellers

You don't have to change the world; if that's how you feel, don't use
ebay.

Everybody knows that Ebay peaked several years back, probably
permanently, 'tho exactly why is debatable.

Just this week I got an early English medal that I would never have
had a chance to ever see, let alone own, except for the venue of
ebay. Wonderful historic item at a great price. As a buyer, I'm
fairly happy with ebay, but ebay withholds a lot of information on who
is bidding against me that they used to show us. The sellers gotta
have shills everywhere and there's no easy way that I can know
anymore.

If anything, I don't think ebay has nearly enough controls on the
filthy devious lazy lying unspeakable unmentionable unwashed tax-
evading sellers.

I have no problem with eBay. Where else could I have sold my cracked
softball bat for $50? It was no issue that eBay and Paypal took a few bucks
fees off this windfall either. Coinwise, I can get better results selling
to collectors/investors on eBay, even with its fees, than I could expect by
selling to a dealer. The only ones who claim they're being "screwed" by
eBay seem to be those who believe eBay was put there for them to use as a
retail tool. When the fees go up, eating into seller overhead and profits,
these "retail" sellers and dealers are outraged and cry to anyone who will
listen how eBay "screws" sellers.

Sure, it would have been nice if things never changed with eBay, but still
there's nothing else close to what it offers for the average Joe who
occasionally likes to sell stuff with exposure to a world-wide audience.
Where else can you do that for the price?

This guy is right on. SO true!!! Ebay/PayPal really do make stealing - and
stealing a LOT of money - very easy.

Buyer FB means nothing. It is so anti-seller. It's incredible that
Ebay/PayPal don't even try to address this SNAD stealing. I'm not one for
lawsuits but, eventually, PP will get hit with a very well deserved class
action suit on the SNAD racket.

His last rant about PP is 100% right on. It really allows stealing pure and
simple.

So how many more times will Bubba continue to use eBay/Paypal before he
realizes maybe that's not the best venue to sell his reconditioned stuff?
He seems more in love with his perceived Youtube fame than with resolving
his many eBay disputes. He would have had no more recourse if he had
received a check and sent off his radio via Craigslist and later found the
check or MO had bounced.

He hates it and he still uses it? Must say something about how he really
feels about eBay and Paypal.
