"The marketing department at the U.S. Mint does
not see things from a collector point of view."
He would like to see that point of view
incorporated in Mint processes.

The United States Mint really does not have
a marketing department. It markets what is
dictated by Congress for both general commerce
use coins, and Numismatic proposes coins.

Citizen's Coinage Advisory Committee mission is
limited to advise the Secretary of the Treasure
themes and designs. They are not the final
voice on a coin design.

Good luck on his effort with Congress on any
changes.
