that is in the condition that is looks worn but all the details can

No one here can grade and price your coin without seeing it. Barber halves
circulated very heavily, and almost all survivors are well worn. Retail
value for a Philadelphia-minted 1896 coin that is well-worn but has no
manmade or environmental damage and is pleasing to look at (what we call
"Good to Very Good" condition) would be around $20-$25. A dealer would pay
considerably less than that because he is likely to already have several
similar coins in inventory. They do not sell like hotcakes. If there is the
slightest hint of damage, you would be lucky to get more than melt for it.
