I like 2007 Jamestown, 2005 Marine Corps, and the 2001 Buffalo.
For reasons both esthetic and sentimental, I got the Jamestown in both
gold and silver proofs. Ditto for the Wright Brothers and the paired
Franklin silver issues (as scientist and what - statesman?) I have a
few others but those were the "gimme" issues. There are a few others,
like the 2001 Buffalo, that I shoulda/woulda but didn't. I ordered
the new Lincoln silver dollar, will have to see it up close and
personal before I can judge the esthetics.
I'm "themed":
1991 Mount Rushmore
1999 Yellowstone
2001 Buffalo
And just because... 1999 Dolley Madison

In no particular order:
-- The half and the dollar from the Columbus set.
-- The P.O.W. dollar.
-- The Vietnam dollar.
If you force me to choose a gold or bimetallic coin, it would
be the 2007-W Jamestown. I'm excluding both the the $5
Washington and the $1 Buffalo since they are rehashes of old
designs.

I like the 2001 Buffalo too, but not enough to pay the current price.
Maybe someday.
The Lincoln commemorative does not appeal to me at all. Too much
writing on the reverse.
Among my favorites are:
- Last years Bald Eagle coins, esp. the Half Dollar.
- The 2006 Old SF Mint for the Morgan Dollar reverse.
- And the 1991 Mount Rushmore.

Seems that everyone is going for the $1 coins. OK, I have favorites
there too, but overall, my favorite is the $5 Smithsonian, in proof.
That 'sunburst' really gets to me.
