Help Needed for foreign gold

Last Night I purchased a piece of French Gold.

It is dated 1989

It is 500 Francs

It is an Olympic Gold Coin of the ALBERTVILLE '92 Olympics

They made a few obverses of this coin...mine is the one with the skaters on
the front.

Any ideas?

Fred, what were you looking for? I have a 2001 Krause SCWC and I can give
you the numbers from that;

Mintage; 17,000
17.0000 g., .920 gold, .5029 oz AGW
Mint; Paris, without mint mark
Value in this cat. - $210.00

The other 500 franc gold had an Alpine skier on the obverse, 19,000 mintage,
valued the same.

Now, having given that, I am still clueless by your question, "Any ideas?".

One quick addition, which is that price is based on gold trading under
$300 an ounce. I would guess that a fair price in today's market
would be $50 or $60 higher than that.
