Last year at a State of Florida Safe Deposit Box Content Auction in Ft
Lauderdale Fl. I purchased several lots of Coins issued after 1987. And
one lot of Paper Currency. Among the Paper Currency were six pieces of
Confederate Paper Notes in denominations of 10c.,15c.,25c.,50c.,and
75c.s. 1 Note dated 1861, 1 note dated 1862,&4Notes dated 1863. 5 Notes
are State Bank of South Carolina 1 Note says City of Charleston S.C.
All notes contain Signatures of those who either issued or accepted
these note in trade for merchandise. Iam not trying to sell these
items,just trying to get info on notes.***** 1 note issued by the Bank
of the State of South Carolina is a two sided note or misprint***** On
one side of the note(the face)is a Portrait of a Rooster,and the number
25c.****But on the reverse of this note is not another number
25c.****But Four RailRoad Bonds for the Greenville&Columbia
RailRoad.Company. With a face value of $17.50 apiece.
