$10,000 Reward For Information Leading To
The Stolen Rare Coins And Paper Money

---------------------------------------

Posted by Roza Al on Nov 9, 2008 - 1:31:47 PM

BEVERLY HILLS -On October 30, 2008, the Professional
Numismatists Guild (PNG) and the PNG-member coin
dealer, Kevin Lipton, announced a $10,000 reward to
anyone with information that will lead to the
recovery of the rare coins and paper money that were
recently stolen from Kevin Lipton's offices on
Olympic Boulevard in Beverly Hills.

At the break-in on Sunday, October 19, 2008, more
than a quarter-million dollars worth of numismatics
were stolen. For the moment, the police have no
information on how many burglars were involved in
the robbery. Among the stolen and easy identifiable
items are very old and rare American dollar bills,
gold and silver coins and Canadian silver coins,
as well as French Francs. Some of these stolen
numismatic products are over a century old. A
complete list of the items stolen can be obtained
by the Beverly Hills Police Department or from the
Professional Numismatists Guild.

"Anyone with information that can help solve this
crime is urged to contact Detective Max Subin of
the Beverly Hills Police Department at
(310) 285-2158, or call the PNG at (760) 728-1300,"
said PNG Executive Director Robert Brueggeman.

PNG is a non-profit organization founded in 1953
with its base in Fallbrook, California. The
organization is composed of many of the top rare
coin and paper money dealers in the United States
and seven other countries. A member of PNG must
hold on to a strict code of ethics when buying
and selling numismatics products.
