looks like a pretty good boulder problem.
lots of links to rc.com lately.

But thanks for trying.
Quick survey, how does everyone else mark THEIR gear? I'm looking for a
climbing partner I can color coordinate with. Personally, I'm a single
strip of yellow tape fellow.

I know my cams like a dog knows every square inch of his... er... paw. As
for my nuts... er... Wild Country Nuts that is, I painted em green with
fingernail paint. Works for me!
(actually the only thing I ever mixed up with my partner are the purple
dyneema slings.)
Well, I always chisel my name into my aluminum gear, and I use a ballpeen
hammer to put a nice flat spot in the middle of my rope. So colors are not
a problem. M.

The best tip I heard was to not mark any of my gear. When I'm sorting out
gear at the end of the day, anything without tape must belong to me!
One partner of mine uses nail polish on all of his metal gear. That seems
to hold up pretty well, and it's easy to reapply. I picked up some
stickers on a whim and I tagged all my gear at the end of the season.
Sadly, it's already showing quite a bit of wear after just a couple
outings. What type of tape are you using, how does it hold up, and how can
I get my cat to pee on my rope?
mark (oh the stickers are orange, if anyone wants to color-coordinate)

Comes in handy pre-cut strips, holds up pretty well, much more unique
than the usual.
