I saw a commercial for a drug called 'Procrit'.
Apparently it produces red blood cells which have been depleted by
kimo therapy (I'm guessing I just spelled that wrong).
Would this be something that would aid getting high in a hurry?
Are there also drugs that also open up the O2 getters (avoili?) in
your lungs?

Just a curio really- I'm sure the cost and difficulty of procuring
these drugs, or others like them, would be prohibitive.

Sure it would. It could also aid killing you in a hurry. It's called
blood doping. It has been illegal in various professional sports for a
while now, especially track and field and professional cycling. Have you
heard of erythropoietin or Epo? Its the natural hormone that stimulates
production of blood cells. A recombinant form is what athletes use to
blood dope. Procrit is just another variant of the same thing.
Cyclists have died from using it.

The professional cyclists do it. How bad do you want it?

I think marijuana would do a better job. :)

Well some of them do. The rest of them just argue about who
is doing it but hasn't been caught yet.

Or something like that.

I had no idea that that is what blood doping is. Thanks for the insight.
