Your policy limitation of the "Eastern Seaboard" allows a pretty broad cruising
range without buying riders. Common in the NW are policies that restrict
vessels to
points within the western entrance to the SOJDF and south of Niggei Island (a
spot at the northern tip of Vancouver Island.
Out policies don't usually cover the W coast of Vancouver Island or making an
off shore run of any type, and a rider has to e purchased.
Your experience is common and would most likely be the same with another
carrier.
