The political pendulum has swung to it's left limit and will now
begin it's swing towards the right. Happens with regularity.

I think that history books of the future will show Biden as
being one of the most corrupt politicians in US history ...
not so much for political power but for personal financial gain..

Hey, I just finished a morning debate with Mrs. E. Have a
question:

Obama decided to shut down construction of the Keystone pipeline
primarily due to environmental debates. Critics claimed it would
endanger the land it occupied ... even though transporting Canadian
oil by truck or rail is just as dangerous, if not more so.

Trump comes along and started up construction again.
Oil prices started dropping ... gas around here was
$1.20 a gallon at one point and the USA was declared
to be energy independent from OPEC ... in fact .. the
USA was declared to be a net *exporter* for the first
time.

Biden shut it down again and is now pleading with OPEC to
increase production due to rising oil prices.

Here's the question:

How did the Keystone pipeline project cause this? It
has not been completed and doesn't supply a drop of
oil as far as I know.

How did the USA become a net exporter of oil derived
energy in less than four years and then become
OPEC dependent again all because the Keystone project
was cancelled again?

Something fishy here.

from. There are also political issues with the Saudis. We are still
mad at the prince over that journalist he had killed and there are
still plenty of people who want to blame them for 9-11 among other

Saudi and most of the terrorist money comes from the Saudis. It is a

Energy is a global commodity so lots of things go into gasoline
prices. No doubt we might still be seeing ripples from the Suez
accident and we can always use the go to excuse, Covid. Then there are
politics. Oil companies want to make the democrats look bad because
the democrats blame oil for lots of things.
