I had a 19' 1986 Citation 190XL for sale all spring and summer but no buyer.
Nice hull and layout and 48 mph with v-6 but wood rot at engine cover and bad
upholstery. tried to get $6000.00. Owner of boat finally said "Hell if I
can't get $6,000.00 out of it I'll just keep it."
He only paid $8,000 for it and let it sit outside for three years without even
a cover. Probably could have gotten $5500.00 if he would have let me sell it
for that.

I'm positive Citation is out of business. They used to be made in
Chapin, SC.
I need to apologize. I was wrong on this one. Even though I distinctly
remember the demise of Citation boats, I went to the local boat show a
few hours after posting the response above and saw Citation boats for
sale. They are now made by Sea Pro, but they carry the Citation name.
To try to answer Bozdb's original question, the original Citations are
no longer being made. A similar boat with the same name is still being
made by Sea Pro.
