I am interested in Logic Marine boats, but they have limited dealers set up
and, none in the Seattle area. BC seems to be the closest dealer location.
They seem to be a great looking, affordable Boston Whaler equivalent. Anyone
own one out there? I would be interested in any feedback on quality,
dealers etc. I am interested in the V17 Dual Console.

Whatever they are, they are not a Boston Whaler equivalent.

I'm not a complete idiot - several parts are missing.

The one thing that really concerns me about the LM V17 is the weight of it. I
have a feeling it will not ride well in chop. 1000 pounds isn't much weight. If
your running it on a back bay or lake with calm conditions I would think it
would be ok. Only way to find out is test drive it in some rough water and see.
It does look a little like a whaler, but I know it's far from one. There was a
poster in here that was really hot on the center console and I checked their
site out to see what the boat was all about. The prolines and whalers had a lot
more weight to them then this boat. I know the proline was a little corkish in
the chop and the whaler is great in the rough stuff. Let us know how it turns
out.

Anybody seen the new 2100? Looks like a heck of a boat. I sure like the
idea of minimum maintenance... I am looking at the V17 Dual console too -
but want to check out the 2100 center console. Any info would be
appreciated...

Logic Boats are made in Durham, NC. They are not fiberglass, but
rather they are polyethylene. More info can be found at
