Due to space constraints I'm considering adding a Raytheon L760 fishfinder
with Raychart. Consumers Marine sells them for around $2,500. Anyone have
any experiences with these units? Also, anyone know of any less expensive
sources?

Thanks,

Just bought one last week, $2450 from Boatersworld and connected it to
a Raynav 300 and Ray53. The installation is pretty easy but if you
plan on comcealing the cables you may need to cut off the ends. Make
sure that a raytheon tech in your area can reattach them for you.

Hi Sandy,

Try Premier Marine Electronics (also known as Consumer Marine Electronics)
on the web at: http://4marine-electronics.com/search/ and pick the
"manufacturers" button and then Raytheon. Looks like $2432 plus $25 for
shipping. I bought two L755s from them (same as the L760 but not color),
an auto pilot and a WAAS GPS from them and have had *great* service. When
I ordered they had Raytheon drop ship some of the items and the pilot came
to me missing a couple of peices. I called Premier and they took care of
the problem for me and I had the missing pieces in a couple of days. Real
nice people to work with. (they are based in Florida)

They have a phone number ... let's see if I can find it here on this mess I
call a "desk" ... (954)779-1100. Thier address is 2233 South Federal Hwy.
Fort Lauderdale FL USA 33316

Hope this helps,
