Bill Tuthill from the Pacific Northwest, if I remember correctly (I
threw away the mag after reading it, so I cannot now doublecheck).

The nicely illustrated story was of him and his buddy duckying the
Yampa and another desert stream (maybe the Delores?) in the Rocky
Mountain/Great Basin area.

He's one'a those former r.b.p regulars who was driven away by the
sponson-bitch, as we nearly all were.

The "sponson bitch" didn't drive me away, just made me realize the
futility of my efforts to elicit a cognizant conversation with it.

And I'll tell ya, in all the years it;s been since the demise of RBP
(and I've lurked sporadically the entire time!) this is the most
prolific period I think I've ever seen! Yay! RBP is coming back from
the dead! :-)

Does this mean we can go back to being enemies?
