Hi,

Can anyone provide we [the readers of this newgroup] with a product
evaluation of the Wilderness Systems Sea-Two kayak? Things like handling
(single and double) in a sea-way and beaching--tours
taken--maintenance--factory product support, etc., are of interest.
The cost/utility of the boat is attractive to me when compared with
Fibre Glass and Kevlar products.

Also, does Wilderness Systems have an URL or Home Page?

Thanks in advance for sharing from

I have paddled the Sea-Two a few times on lakes in the Smoky Mountains
area of North Carolina. It is small for an extended trip. The bow and
stern paddlers are fairly close together and unless you paddle in unison
you hit each others paddles. Of course it is best to paddle unison and
the boat design makes sure you do. The sea two is not the fastest sea
kayak I have ever been in but considering its length it is not real slow.

For a plastic tandem sea kayak the sea two is the best I have used. If
you're on a budget and do not want to spend more then two nights out this
would be a great boat for you.
Good Luck.
