Try to contact Walter Murray at wal...@mindspring.com he has designed and
tested a nice windvane. He sent me the plans on CD but I came across a used
Aries before I tried his unit.

Walter sometime monitors these news groups and may respond here or you can
email him.

Don't know about that particular pamphlet. However...

To anyone who wants to build a windvane, I *highly* recommend
_Wind Vane Self Steering, Theory, Principles and Practice_
by Bill Belcher, 1997, Capt Teach Press, Auckland. The title says it
all: the theory is right but not too technical for laymen, and he
provides actual, practical, complete plans for several wind vanes. I'm
building one now.

I got mine from http://www.bateau.com/ , US$29.

The Amateur Yacht Research Society-- these guys sorta pioneered the
technology-- also has a publication.
