I was looking throuhg some "new old stock" and came across some Wilcox
Crittenden chocks made of "marinium". It does not quite look like
chromed bronze or polished stainless. Anyone have any idea what it
really is?

According to Wilcox-Crittenden, it's an alloy of magnesium, titanium,
aluminum, beryllium, and other metals. Will not tarnish like bronze, peel
like chrome, or bleed like stainless.
