Dave, Sirius 21, was manufactured by Vandestadt & Mc Gruer ltd Owen Sound
Ontario (now out of business)
The boat was LOA 21'2",LWL18'9",Beam 7'11" Draft 16" to 5' 0", Sail area Main
93 Sq Ft,Jib 110 Sq Ft, Genoa 156 Sq Ft,weight 2000 Lbs keel weight 525 Lbs
Manufacturers Comment Canadian Sailboat Sourcebook 1983 edition;
The SIRIUS is fast, roomy, stable and easy to handle. Its wide beam, hard
bilge and retractable cast iron keel provide excellent stability. The mast
head rig allows many different sail combinations with optional head sails
(Winches standard). Jiffy reefing is standard on the main and working jib.
Interior foam makes the craft unsinkable.
The Sirius accomodates 5 adults; the dinette converts to a double bunk and
there are three single bunks, all over 6'3" long. Sensible provision has been
made for stove and toilet and ample storage space is provided including a
convient molded in anchor locked near the bow. The pop top is standard and a
optional cabin tent adds greatly to live aboard comfort.

The Sirius has hull and deck liners and self draining cockpit. For safety, an
external, ventilated gas storage recess ensures no fumes inside the craft.
All horizontal surfaces have a molded nonskid pattern.
Trim is teak throughout. Mast and boom are anodized aluminum; rigging and
hardware are of stainless steel. Liasil, a unidirectional roving laid in
alternating directions is used extensively for hull strength and stiffness.
Kick up rudder, swing up motor bracket, topping lift and boom vang are all
standard.
Hope this helps. Bill

Try the Canadian Yachting Web site. They have a boat review section at
http://www.canyacht.com/reviews.html
They have a detailed review of the boat you're looking at.
