I think the aluminum singles would be best. I'm not a diver myself and don't
remember what the capacity is for these typically.
Anyway for the purpose this storage, I need the dimensions of these single
tanks. Diameter, bottle length and overall length.
Any help or recommendations would be appreciated.

My steel 70 is about 30 inches high and 7 inches in diameter. They
come in a few different sizes.
Joe
Does that 30 inches include the valve??

Probably the best idea is to go to a dive shop and measure some.

Steve
from my tanks (circa 78 and '87)
Luxfer Alum 80's
mine are 30" tall to valve top
at 25" the tank shoulder starts curving in
the valves are 3 to 3.25" tall
valve width is 4 for a K and 4.6" for a J
7.5" diam with boot
measurements are approx and eyeballs are not calibrated :^)
since you specified alum ... to be safe I'd also check the luxfer web
page along with catalina. if you can't find their pages, yell
www.omsdive.com has measurements for tanks (steel) = faber
