Bill Shakespeare raced powerboats from 1960 until 1971 when he was killed
while practicing for the Windemere Grand Prix. He started his own firm as
the beginning of his career. The boat business didn't do well without his
direction but in 1990 a circuit racer called Francis Whitley asked the
designer (Lorne Campbell) of his boat to also design new boats for
Shakespeare.

To be or not to be - that´s the question! Sorry - no further
information from my side ...

(Laugh!) I bet that was very helpful! :-)
I've never heard of Shakespear boats. Are they nicknamed
Bards by any chance? Or Lord Bacons? If the boat is a cat:
"A curse on both your hulls!" If it is a romantic sailing
vessel: "Hark! What sheet through yonder snatchblock
breaks?!" If a slow vessel: "I come! By and by, I come!"
If the boat is lost: "The fault is not in our stars but
in ourselves, that we are shitty celestial navigators."
