You might actually want to look at Sidney. The other one is quite some
distance. I live in Alberta, but I sail out of Tsehum Harbour in Sidney.
Check out Van Isle Marina (http://www.vanislemarina.com/), Westport Marina
(http://www.thunderbirdmarine.com/westprt.htm), Canoe Cove
(http://www.boattravel.com/canoecove/) and Marina Park Marina. Port Sidney
is very upscale. (http://www.scratchpatch.com/portsid/fees.htm)
Maple Bay (http://www.maplebaymarina.com/) is nice. It is about an hour
away from Sidney. If you want really inexpensive, you should check out the
marina in Genoa Bay (http://www.genoabaymarina.com/). It is just south of
Maple Bay. I do know that there are a number of live aboards there.

west side of Saanicton Peninsula and directly across from Sidney. Brentwood
Bay is a small town with services within walking distance from the marina.
I keep my boat in North Saanich Marina and while I don't live aboard, many
people do.

instead of a frantic parking lot. All the necessary amenities and Duncan
is 15 minutes away.
