Careful... Jim will claim it's not the latest version.

And as an added feature, if you forget to take-on water ballast, the boat
will do it for you.

There's a guy on our dock who owns a Mac (don't know what flavor). I asked
him about the water ballast, and he never drains it. He actually sails quite
a bit, but he stays out of the high wind stuff or reefs way down and/or
turns on the engine to get home.

A guy would have to have cast-iron balls to take a MacGregor 26X out in
conditions that rough.

I like the one posters comment "MacGregor 26, the "spork" of boats".

I'm really glad I don't know much about Macs.

We were talking about Macs. It's a Mac. Would you rather talk about a PC?

I think that's a 26X. The later 26M has a few hundred pounds of lead
glassed in - besides the water ballast.
Don't know if it would matter. Maybe, depending on what method of
screw up they were using to capsize the boat.
And no, I'm not Jim.

I know Vic... I mean that you're not Jim. In any case, the Mac (fill in
flavor) isn't much of a sailboat. They're wildly popular and sell like McD
burgers, but that's not saying much.

It's not a sailboat. It's a "powersailor."
An F-31 is a sailboat.

Actually, an F-31 is two or possibly 3 sailboats.
