Looking for the best places in the Seattle area for marine
plywood, fiberglassing supplies, hardware, etc. Planning to
build a small runabout along the line of the old Chris
Craft, Hacker Craft, etc. I do have a catalog of a place in
MN for some of the hardware stuff. Thanks in advance for
any leads. I'm just in the daydreaming stage right now....

Check out the Wooden Boat Shop on Boat St, under the University Bridge.
Marty Loken keeps a good inventory there, and can also dispense rebuilding
advice. He also runs the Restoration Shop in Magnolia.

Following the ship canal from Lake Washington to Puget Sound, there's The
Wooden Boat Shop, Crow's Nest, Doc Freeman's, West Marine, and the used
marine goods store next to West Marine. Some good lumber yards are: Home
Builders, Compton, Crosscut Hardwoods, and Olson. System three is also
located in Seattle.

Thanks,
Don
