Bowrider windshield adjustment

My 21' CC bowrider (1984) has a Water Bonnet windshield. Problem is the
center windshield seems to have gottten bigger (the walk-thru space gotten
smaller?) and in order to close the windshield I have to push on both
outboard sides of the side panels.

I have looked under the windshield for screws/adjustments, etc but they must
be in the aluminum channels that hold the glass.
Anybody else have any problems like this? Anybody able to help? I don't
want to start taking windshields apart (which is what I think I'll end up
haveing to do) without some of NG's help!
