I have a '84 century 30' grande, I would llike to know if it is possible to
add a walkthru door in the back of the boat to get to the swim platform. is
there something special you have to do to help support the boat or can you
just cut it out and fiberglass to finish. I have done some fiberglass work
before. but am a little worried if this part of the boat is structural or
not. I can send a picture of the back of the boat to anyone that can help.

I think you will find that even on a fiberglass boat the transom is
definately a structural member and that those with doors are built differently
than those without, but that is not saying you couldn't open yours up from the
inside and do the necessary reinforcing
