My son purchased a boat that had the wood replaced with "polywood".
The polywood can be cut and shaped with standard woodworking tools.
Where can one purchase poly"polywood"

Polywood is man made wood/ engineered wood or composite wood. Polywood can be easily fashioned into furniture using commercial grade stainless steel fastening components and has an extra-protective and cosmetic coating. It can be cut and drilled into different shapes and that are last a lifetime. MADAANINDIA deals with polywood.
