I recently acquired a 23' Lonestar Cruiser for restoration and am now
looking for a variety of parts and components. Is anyone aware of
boat junk/salvage operations in the Pacific Northwest?

Here in Portland there is Columbia marine exchange. 503-289-0944. It
is on Tomahawk Island drive, maybe 700NE. It is around back of a blue
two story building, on the north side of the road. Not so sure about
them anymore, seems to not have as much new items, and the prices have
gone up a bit.

Sexton's Chandlery 303 NE Tomahawk Is. Dr also has a used room. I
like them better. Good selection of new stuff as well. Good prices
and good quality. Plus, they carry stuff that West Marine does not
;-)

Looking in the phone book I noted Maritime Boat Salvage, 6307 NE St.
Johns Rd. in Vancouver. never been there, might have to check it out.

watch also for the swaps, West marine has one every spring and I
always find something good. There is one on tomahawk Island about 2
weeks later, but have never gotten the timing just right...

This last weekend I found Second Wave in north Seattle
http://www.secondwave.cc/ Now this is the place! Will be on my
trip each time I make it up there. There is also 'admiralty marine'
near there, and Doc Freeman's. Lots to keep one busy for a
weekend....

Would be interested in what others have found....
