Interlux one part polyurethane is a pretty tough paint available at most
marine store$. I have also had pretty good luck with acrylic exterior
house paint, but it is less resistant to scraping. Another good paint is
Rustoleum exterior enamel. You will not need a bottom paint if the boat is
not stored in the water. I'm still looking for the perfect paint myself.
Are you going to scull this boat like a gondola? Sounds like a fun project!

Yes: oh yes! 3 parts rustoleum, one part cayenne, one part ground
chile peppers.
