I don't normally see them after late October until April. Imagine my
surprise when I spotted this one on January 14th. I didn't get a
picture then but today she's been quite active at the feeder so I was
able to get a pic while she was resting.

She looks chilly! :) We're expecting a spate of unusually cold weather
overnight with temps dropping below freezing and freezing rain. I'm
more than happy to keep the feeder filled for her. :)
I've got the seed feeder freshly stocked, too, and will make sure the
small bird bath on the patio doesn't freeze so they will have access to
fresh water.
