Male Bullock's Oriole is a bit more yellow in the 1st year, but is a little more orange / yellow after that.
Baltimore Oriole seems to be a bit more orange underneath, with a black head, but we don't have them in my area so I am less familiar with them.
One book I have notes that these two interbreed in parts of the Great Plains. That could produce some odd color variations in those areas.
