Young Northern Bluebird Practicing taking a Bath

I'm pretty sure it's a young male. The bright blue on his wings is
starting to show up. He hasn't lost the speckles on his head or chest, yet.
So, momma-bird showed him how to flap his wings to splash water. He sat
on the edge of the bird bath and flapped. He wasn't quite ready to take
the plunge into the 1-inch deep bird bath yet, though. LOL
