Lemme show you a trick for google search result links. Copy and paste
the URL into a text editor. Then first change the "https" to "http".
Leave the "://", "www.google.com/", and "search?" alone. Now take
the:

"%23sclient%3Dpsy-ab%26q%3Dcreative%2Buses%2Bfor%2Bzip%2Bties%26oq
%3Dcreative%2Buses%2Bfor%2Bzip%2Bties%26gs_l%3Dhp.
12..0.6602.16218.0.19526.26.17.0.9.9.0.472.3351.0j13j2j1j1.17.0...0.0...1c.
1.16.psy-ab.01yr-DMku10%26pbx%3D1%26bav%3Don.2,or.r_qf.%26bvm%3Dbv.
47534661,d.dmg%26fp%3Db0588b1045dd07fc%26biw%3D1152%26bih
%3D635&usg=AFQjCNG9ir301zTKnB9yLm2Z2QgkkHe7Kg"

... (some of that "%nn" type stuff may apear as symbols, but
anyway... )

Whittle that down to: "=creative+uses+for+zip+ties", resulting in the
complete URL:

http://www.google.com/search?q=creative+uses+for+zip+ties

Sweet, huh? :-)

I got lots of zip ties in assorted colors when the electronics store
put them out in a bin cheap. They're small but can be chained
together to extend. What I hate is the way the cut end pokes you.

Oh but I found a way to make those concise, too (IIRC... maybe not).

No sweat - wasn't complaining - just showing off.

In Oz, a bird called a magpie is nesting and attacks cyclists. Cable
ties on the helmets are supposed to discourage them. Here's another
cable tie link.

This appears to work for me (but I'm weird and so is my computer -
YMMV):

http://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&q=clambake+goop

... put your search terms after "q=", separated by '+'.

No, but in a collision with one of them, the cyclist does.
They are a very stupid animal with a small brain.
I know what you are thinking. That applies to all
Australians. <g>

I bought a pair of small cheap "wire" side cutters to nip them off
immediately. They are wire-cutters which probably wouldn't more than
a handful of times but are perfect for the smaller all-plastic ties.
Won't deal with those for CV joints and would struggle for those used
to (mostly) secure wheel trims ("hub-caps") from theft.

That wasn't a surprising outcome. Magpies are drawn to shiny stuff
and are known to steal rings. If you have a bald head, wear a cloth
cap and a veil or mask When i am in the garden, more birds have
come down now I am bearded, it's the bare face which they and most non-
domesticated animals fear.

we have squirrels, an occasional young rabbit, possum and armadillo at the bicycle tire level..

road poop is more horse n dog in suburbia.

Prob Wisconsin suffers some slop from cheese overload. There's a dairy belt. Brown snow.

I haven't run into a disparate bicycle road ecosystems report...

there's a film or 2....

imagine a bounding kangaroo is at least as dangerous as a streaking deer.

In Washington state where computer $$$ and Boing retirees have developed not long ago animal property, driving above Dungeness on Juan de Fuca and against the Olympic Ridge along what was a vast meadow, we pass a waiting line of Elk highway crossers.

Muh van has a hi pitched airhorn cawsing deer et al to freeze and reconsider.

My personal high during an early Sunday morning trip along the top of the Everglades...2 large sunning gators getting up of the bridge then running and a famous old Florida Panther.

On a cycle here its armadillo and possum.

they crap in the grass.
