Didn't look at that. I saw the item on WABC radio[1]
tonight, went searching for a link. Here's another:

[1] radio has brighter colors

20 years ago, lived at Hasbrouck Heights, NYC bedroom community
overlooking the Meadows/NYC skyline.
Every summer thunderstorm produced at least one wreck, parked, each
block.
Bicycling around Jersey? difficult. Intra surburban not bad but inter
surburban ? ow !
drug usage, as in Florida, is common, a street fact.

Serious question : did you bang your head as a kid? I ask because you
seem somewhat stupid. What kind of question is that?

If someone were to be blown up a roadside bomb would you ask if they had
been wearing gloves?

Try to retain some sense of relative proportions when assessing damage,
protection and risk taking.

LAST NIGHT, A LOCAL WOMAN WAS CRUSHED BY SENATOR BAGS WHEN THE HER
BICYCLE VEERED INTO THE PATH OF THE SENATOR'S AMG.
THE LOCAL WOMAN WAS CHARGED WITH FAILURE TO YIELD. OUR THOUGHTS AND
PRAYERS GO OUT TO THE SENATOR AND HIS FAMILY.

More proof that the only real solution to this problem is the humble
flippy flag. That and hands free automobiles.

MY FAVORITE comment of the week in NYT on the Mayan calender:

"Why does everyone put so much stock in the Mayans' ability to predict
the future? They seemed to miss seeing the Spanish coming and
destroying their civilization..."

That's illustrative of the VP's power.

Cheney shoots somebody in the face and it's no bit deal.

Clinton shoots somebody in the face and they want to impeach him.

It's not right, I tell ya.

The difference is Cheney didn't lie about it under oath...OR coerce another
party to commit perjury.

Bill "plus, of course, Clinton re-loaded and shot again" S.
