Had mine since 84. Wondering if there are others out there.

How does the feel compare to Biopace?

I remember reading all the adds and testimonials in the magazines back
then. I bought a Biopace crankset in about '84 and I'm still using it on
my road bike. I always had bad knees but I don't know how much it helps. I
think the Powercams went the way of Skid Lids.

different. a graduated increase in pressure followed by a graduated
decrease. I wouldn't recommend one on a mountainbike, because the
rollercam rides indirectly and so the Powercam runs most smoothly under
constant pressure. It's great for a recumbent.

I have an extra one if you are interested. I am always open to the right
barter.

It's like nothing else you've ever experienced on a bicycle. It feels
more like stair climbing than bike riding. I borrowed a friend's bike
with this on it once (early 80s), and took it on a long ride.
Fortunately, the cam mechanism failed halfway through the ride, and I
was able to set it to regular action.

An interesting experience; one I would not want to repeat. Nothing at
all like Biopace, which to me doesn't really feel all that different
from regular chainrings.

I ride a powercam . took some adjustment to get it right. I have alway been a pusher. Like very mush.
