well, that's an interesting way to write a message...
Yes Titanium spokes WILL fuse to alloy nipples (they'd fuse to brass
nipples also) IF (and this is the important) you fail to use ANY sort
of lubricant on the spoke threads (which is ALWAYS reccommended by
EVERY publication/article I've ever read on the subject) such as
spoke-prep (Wheelsmith, Park, DT, whatever), Linseed oil, grease,
chainsaw oil, Elast-O-lube (which is my favourite), etc. If you lube
them, as your supposed to, then no problem.
Listed weights for 26" MTB wheels, approx length 266mm
32 14g Ti spokes (like Union/Marwi Ti-Dye's) will weigh about 120g
32 DT 14-15 DB spokes weigh about 192g
32 DT 15-16 DB spokes weigh about 153g
32 DT 1.8/1.5 spokes (revolution) weigh about 120g while the 2.0/1.5
version weighs about 137g for 32.

spokes?
Very approximately - not enough.
:-).
I'd go for SS DB and brass nipples every time...

If you pay in cash it will save you even more.

32 Titanium spokes = 124gm
32 DT revoultion = 144gm
32 DB stainless = 180 gm
Alloy > Tit. doesn't bond any more than to Stainless
