A friend of mine is considering the purchase of an Aegis carbon fiber
road bike frame. She is a very solid "B" rider in our club.

Does anyone have any experience and/or opinions re this frame before my
friend spends her $2,500?

The now defunct Road Bike Action had an article on this
frame a few issues back. If I remember correctly they
really liked this bike espically at the price. The bike came
with an aluminum fork so your friend might want to upgrade
to carbon fiber. Even with the extra expense of carbon it
would still be cheaper than a Kestrel frame ( whom Aegis
used to build frames for). If you trust bike magazine reviews
you might want to look it up. Hope this helps.
