Or knucklehead failure?

I've had three patches pffffffft out in two days on two different
tubes on the gf's bike. Delta brand patch kit. Same thorough prep as
always, a serious sanding, and no impatience with the cement--letting
it go fully matte and tacky.

Going to try again with another tube of cement from the auto parts
store that's tried and true--but it feels like amateur hour. Link to

It's pretty obvious where the patch bubbled up and the air snuck out
the side.

I've only used Park or Rema kits for years. Might or might not be a
connection.

Looks to be bad cement. I retried with some "Monkey Grip" cement I got
at the autozone during the Bush II years, and it's holding perfectly.

well, first off ditch aptly named Yahoo Flicker for Picasa..

hmmmm glue is made in large batches then squooze into tubes. Tested.

Auto glue in a can may evap volatile components leaving a still liquid non sticking glue. Are tube cements capable of this ? Haven't seen it or have I ?

The patches. Patch production is more exposed to contamination. Anything can fall from the sealing. Like your fingers, the film applied to the patch for'protection.' An industrial product people depend on for food.

Then there's the applier who may or may not have his sensors operating today now. Was your mind occupied with another task ?

The tube. Your girlfriend isin control of the tube. Immediately we feel caws for suspicion. WE KNOW YOUR GIRLFRIEND. worser, tubes were in cintact with your gf's inside tire surfaces. Who knows, right ? Maybe she ran the bike thru a pool of Aerospace 303 ?

and that's what the dimpling looks like if I could see it from the witless Yahoo Flicker software: rejection !

YOUR TUBE WOORK WAS REJECTED BY YOUR GIRLFRIENDS TUBE ! INCROYALBLE.

Take 3 mood elevators.

The "my tire doesn't fit on my rim." post. We always smile right ? The poster goes on at length whinning how he just spent 3 months allowance and the tire people or worser the rim people screwed him good by producing 5000 incorrectly sized rims or tires.

You can imagine the uproar at the dealership in Singapore, right ?

White developed a hernia in a sensitive area when Sapim (?) sent his shop 5000 incorrectly made spokes. You would believe White tested several from curiosity after spending $XXX and relying on same for continued good relations with cusstomers.

On the other hand, I bought several generic spokes from an LBS Chain who had bought XXXXXXX spokes, developing a serious case of White's Disease cured with a heavy dose of DT ONLY

so ground level. the logical assumption that it shouldn't be, is be.

At least on a nickel and dime item like spokes. "Ahhhh mujgwallabuit, ship it, who could tell, granny'l ride on dem."

Rims, tires, glue, patches ?

We could get an overview from our esteamed LBS colleagues but what then would they recieve next month ?

I never had a problem with Rema or Park as long as I didn't screw it
up.

Looks like next to a valve. I believe you may have been holding a
push-on valve connection without a valve lockring. Make the
inflation with the wheel on the bike and on the ground and with the
pump within the hands, do not hold on to the tyre for this one. I'm
not a fan of valve-lockrings but they can be useful in balancing a
wheel and in this almost unique puncture.
