I have a set of 650c Spinergy Rev-X tubular wheels that were supplied
with a Shimano 8/9 speed freehub. My bike is 10speed Campy Record
equipped, so I would like to run a 10 speed Campy cassette with this
wheel. What to do?

I am aware of an adapter cassette by Wheels Manufacturing
http://wheelsmfg.com/technology.html which modifies existing Shimano
cassettes to Campy spacing. I understand it works acceptably, but not
as smoothly as either matched (all Campy or all Shimano) drivetrains
do.

I have heard of other solutions which purport to swap a Campy freehub
onto the Spinergy wheel which allows the use of a Campy, or Campy spec
cassette. I am including a link to a current eBay auction for a
similar Spinergy wheel which seems to take this approach (Campy
freehub on Spinergy wheel, with Miche cassette).
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1824936361&r=0&t=0&showTutorial=0&ed=1020531858&indexURL=0&rd=1

If manageable, I think my preference would be for the latter solution.
Can anyone weigh in on this one?

Thanks in Advance,

Ed,
I think you can just buy the Campy hub body from Spinergy and swap it out
with the Shimano one currently on your wheelset.
