Replace LP25 BB with UN52?

I have a Giant hybrid with a Shimano LP25 sealed (cartridge) BB. It is
supposed to be a LP25 (low profile) unit. It is marked 68 (shell width)
and the spindle is 110mm. It is the standard 1.37 x 24 tpi threading.

My question is: Can I replace (upgrade) this unit with a UN52 in the 68x110
size? Is there anything else to consider?
