I've looked in all the usual places, but can't find an effective rim
diameter for the new Mavic MA3. Any know what it is? Mavic is
rebuilding their web site, and is hiding the tech pages :-(

The reason I ask is that a friend of mine was doored and his front wheel
was bent. I'd like to rebuild with the original hub and spokes. The
original rim was a Mavic CXP-10, with an ERD of 600mm. If I can't find
another CXP-10 (I haven't so far), I'd like to use a rim with the same ERD
so I can reuse the spokes.

I know the Open Pro is close, but he'd rather not spend twice what he
should for a rim.

I've got a 613.4mm erd measurement for that rim, or just a shade bigger than a
MA2. I don't think it will be remotely close enough for your swap, if you
intend to reuse the spokes.

Campag Moskva is 600mm also-
As is the CXP-12
Open Pro is 605mm
The MA-3 isn't available yet-I think the ERD will be smaller than the Open Pro
since it's a similar profile but single eyelets-
