Manitou Mach 5 Rebuild, Help!!

I am replacing my elastomers (Some damaged) with speed springs. I
removed the elastomers but at the bottom of the right leg I found the
plastic part at the bottom was broken. I haven't found a way to remove
that part, even after removing the allen screw at the bottom of the leg.
Can anyone help me out?
