Hi...

I have an oldish ACT bike computer. I don't know the exact model,
but it is
of the two button type and they all seem to be pretty standard anyway.

However I recently changed the battery and I lost the old odometer
reading. I would like to reset the computer with the old reading intact.

Most settings (eg. tire size) are done on this model by pressing
both buttons
together for 5 seconds until the display goes clear. However, there
is a slight variation on this to set the odo millage. Since I have
forgotten what this is (and it can be done), could anyone give me
a hint as to what the correct "key sequence " is.

I suspect that if someone tells me how they do it on their two button
computer, it will
be similar on mine.

Also , does anyone hava a calibration chart for this kind of computer ?
--- there is
none for ACT computers on Sheldon Brown's site.

Thanks
Liam

I have an ACT on my GT Karakorum, and can post the calibration chart later
today (it's at home and I'm at work). However, the ACT I have doesn't have
a way to reset the mileage after a batter change -- it's simply gone. :-(

Watch for ACT Calibration Settings in this group later today...
