No.....except in friction.
"UL" is for Suntours narrow spaced "Ultra" freewheels and "RE" is for
regular spaced freewheels. The Ultra freewheels fit 6 cogs into the
width of a standard 5spd and 7 cogs into the width of a standard 6spd.
"P" isn't purely friction, but is Suntour's "Powercam" ratcheted shift
lever (ratchets when pulling against the derailleur spring, friction
when going with the derailleur spring). Sorry, I don't know if a
Suntour 6spd indexing system will work with a Shimano 6spd freewheel.

UL is Ultra, the narrow spacing used first on Ultra 6 freewheels,
and later on all Suntour 7 and 8 speed setups. It's close enough
to Shimano narrow spacing that it will usually index with Shimano
freewheels.
RE is regular spacing, for 6 speed freewheels with the same
spacing as 5 speed freewheels.
