I replaced the bottom bracket on my titanium frame bike yesterday and
used a sliver-colored anti-seize, Permatex 765-1674, which I happend to
have handy. From the MSDS,
http://www.docstoc.com/docs/7851671/765-1674, it uses graphite,
aluminum, and calcium-oxide. Does that seems appropriate? The bottom
bracket threads are aluminum.

I had called around to a few local bike stores, they had nothing
special. A brief web search [during the middle of the overhaul]
suggested a nickel-based antiseize might be better, but that
wasn't definitive. Anyone with actual experience or pointers
to an informative article?

Thanks,

You might want to read
www.hi-shear.com/reports/Hi-Kote%201%204-01020.pdf
which discusses the problems of titanium fasteners in aluminum. Which,
I might note is written by the manufacturers of an anti-seize, however
it does appear to be an accurate assessment of the problems involved.

Cheers,
