The climb up Palomares was not good. All of the houses and two wineries are closed and for sale. Anyone with money is getting the hell out of California. Even the SOB's that supported the stupidity of endless taxation and gas twice the cost of gas everywhere else in the nation do not themselves want to live under such conditions.
