Yes, no, maybe so. Depends on your budget. Buy the best you can. Daytona is
probably a better value, if that's what you're asking.

Veloce grouppo is good value and dependable. I have the Veloce with a
Daytona cogset and they have consistently proven me well in century
rides. The weight savings between the Daytona and Veloce is slight. If
you want weight savings to be done right, go for a light frame like a Ti
(Litespeed, Merlin or Seven), a pair of light wheels, a carbon fork like
Time Club and a decent group like Veloce. It will make you one hell of a
screaming bike!
